One Last Night

Veronica has a wish...a death wish. As someone who has dealt with depression and have knownother people who have dealt with depression, and have tried to kill themselves, my book One Last Night deals with the whys of suicide. I come from a background where depression and suicide were not things spoken about. In fact, they were normally avoided. But I refuse to avoid things that are so important. The problem is that there is still so much stigma around this illness - and an illness is what it is - that nobody wants to admit to having it or the thoughts and problems that come along with it. I want there to be something to show people the whys of suicide, and I'm hoping this book, fiction though it is, can help people understand depression just a little bit better.
