In this the first of our Series we visit profile the lives and legends of the biggest names in Rock. Before Rock there was Rock and Roll... Elvis Presley came out of nowhere, hip snaking onto an almost empty stage, with Little Richard, black and gay, lurking in the wings. Elvis was all four Jungian archetypes rolled into one - the child- the wise man, the fool or trickster and lastly, the sexual being, desirable, yet unobtainable. In his wake spawning countless scores of Bobbies from Darren to Rydell. Pink Floyd's L.S.D. landscapes became an homage to cash registers, and stadium rock was born. ACDC Aerosmith Beatles Black Sabbath Bon Jovi Bowie Bruce Springsteen Creedence Clearwater Revival Deep Purple Elvis Foo Fighters Guns & Roses Iggy Pop.
