La Graciosa

By the end of 1969, a young German couple, who made documentaries for television, arrived at the small island of La Graciosa almost by chance. It was before tourism, when there was no electricity or running water. People¡s doors were always open. Daily task and fishing, which required great effort, were share amonst the locals. This is the photographic evidence of the love affair that arose between the couple and an unforgiving, peculiar and unique land, populated b authentic seafaring people.
