Le Retour (The Return) is a book-object - the first photographic project by Roxane Cassehgari, born from her rediscovery of Iran after 20 years of absence. Combining poetry and photography in color, halfway between a diary and a travel journal, the book takes the form of a passport and explores the connection to a distant home. It is a sensitive homage to a feeling shared by diasporas around the world, that moment of return, when one seeks to reconnect with a distant heritage.
