Pillar to Post focuses on the vibrant and resilient Travellerand Gypsy communities across the UK and Ireland.Wright was first drawn to photograph this communityafter hearing about a relative who was from Irish Travellerheritage but denounced her heritage and past when shemarried. Wright wanted to learn more and was shockedby the open prejudice towards this community, wantingto tell the real story of the people he met and counter themisrepresentative media portrayal.
