The exhibition „rack it!“ opened at NoTax in Paris on October 15th and was onshow throughout October 27th 2024.Through scans and images, this bookcompiles the works presented in theexhibition.Through drawings, sculptures, and avideo piece, the British Artist andMusician Klein delves into the complexlegal and social dynamics of the YSLRICO trial (the longest criminal trialin Georgia‘s history), exploring itsintersection with free speech, freewill, and systemic bias within thejustice system. She examines the livesof key figures involved, the surprisingplot twists in the case, and the largerimplications for artistic expression andpersonal freedom.As a case study in bias, the exhibitionquestions the narratives of criminality,highlighting how culture, race, andpublic perception shape legal outcomesin America and lead further governanceacross other countries.
