Lucía C. Pino’s work has largely been concerned with questioning the material and ontological inertias rooted in design, architecture and sculpture, such as attachment, solidity or durability. With a focus on sculptural research, their work explores the poetics and politics of the circular economy from an epistemic disobedience orientation. The book accompanies You Who Have Beautiful Manners, the artist’s first solo exhibition at the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo in Madrid.
