This volume includes eight chapters that detail agricultural research updates. Chapter 1 introduces transformations necessary for the future of a sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Chapter 2 evaluates the effects of seed cryopreservation on growth kinetics, phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) activity, the production of primary and secondary metabolites, as well as oxidative parameters in P. venusta callus cultures. Chapter 3 investigates the traditional uses of medicinal and aromatic plants in the Republic of North Macedonia. Chapter 4 details Pyrostegia venusta, in the presence and absence of light, to induce inducing calli and to modulate the production of secondary metabolites with biological activity. Chapter 5 aims to investigate the morphological, biochemical diversity, pest, and disease incidence of seven sorghum varieties so that farmers can conduct PVS and assess their preferences for sorghum. Chapter 6 identifies strategic steps that can be taken to improve the economy of farmers in Indonesia, especially in North Sulawesi Province through the principles of efficiency, innovation, agricultural business commercialization, policy, institutional capacity building, and modern market access. Chapter 7 intends to establish a protocol for callus induction in leaf segments of Bauhinia holophylla and assess the total phenol and flavonoid levels in the callus. Finally, Chapter 8 includes research that examines existing vegetable production practices and designed technical guidelines for applying microbial agents to convert agricultural by-products into organic fertilizers.
