The present volume presents the first critical edition of the Hippocratic treatise De humoribus in consultation with both Greek and Arabic textual witnesses.  It provides a German translation with detailed notes.  The introduction surveys information about the textual tradition and interpretive history of this work and discusses its structure, purpose, author, and date.
