This volume brings together pre-clinical and clinical research on topics highly relevant to the development and improvement of our understanding of Alzheimer?s disease (AD). The combination of both research areas will appeal to a broad range of researchers from basic scientists to neurologists. The topics cover both established and more recent areas of research on the underlying causes of this disease which are still not fully understood more than 100 years after its first description by Alois Alzheimer.
