Ají Vol. II: Unbounded Lines brings together the projects of researchers, artists, designers, and architects from the Global South. The publication incorporates Indian textile traditions, typography from a non-authorial proposal, a manifesto to dance, collaborative explorations on institutional power, family and migration stories from South Africa, a four-handed photography project from Chile and China, exercises on light and architecture, and a photography feminist collection from countryside Brazil. At its core, this volume plays with the edging point where culture, meaning, and politics are negotiated. Like the pages of the publication, which work as lines folding and unfolding, Ají Vol. II: Unbounded Lines is a gathering/manifestation of non-linearity.
