The Institute for East-West Security Studies brought together specialists from Eastern, Central and Western Europe, the United States and the Soviet Union on March 1-3, 1990, to discuss how democracy will affect every aspect of life in Eastern and Central Europe and the Soviet Union -political, social, economic-and impact upon Western Europe.
