Public and private data centers can only accomplish their mission by sharing resources, distributing work, dealing together with university policy-makers, and applying flexible project management. Accordingly, the presentations given at the fall meeting of the ZKI focused on communication. The authors have decades of combined experience in running computing centers while harnessing the talents of young staff.
