The Stony Brook Conference, 'Graphs and Patterns in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics', was dedicated to Dennis Sullivan in honor of his sixtieth birthday. The event's scientific content, which was suggested by Sullivan, was largely based on mini-courses and survey lectures.
