The book was first published in 1931, and was primarily intended as a tool for union representatives in the many organizational units of the Norwegian labor movement. It is just as important for today’s representatives to know the required rules for the well-functioning of their organizations.

This English version is a translation of the 9th Norwegian edition, which was revised by Truls Gerhardsen in order to better serve current organizational needs. This book is a helpful tool for representatives of all kinds of organizations.
