Crossing over

Crossing Over (Doaresbealde doali, Utenfor sporet) is the second book in this series of youth novels by Máret Ánne Sara. The first book: In Between Worlds, 2016.

It tells the story of siblings Sánne and Lemme, who have fallen into an otherworldly state. There, in the shapes of reindeer, they struggle to understand how they ended up in this strange realm and search for a way back alive. Gradually, they realize that there is grave trouble in the world of the ulddat—trouble caused by the deeds of humans.

This book invites you to follow their journey back into the human world… which has its own challenges and dangers.

Máret Ánne Sara – Mikkol Ivvára Jovsseha Ivvára Máret Ánne is an artist, journalist, and author who grew up in a reindeer herding family in Guovdageaidnu. Her first book, Ilmmiid gaskkas (In Between Worlds), was nominated for the Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize in 2014.
